Bally’s vs. Planet Fitness?

O.K., so I belong to Bally’s.  I have since 5/4/09 and I only use the cardio equip.  I thought I would do classes and use the weight equip, but I don’t.  And now my husband’s step father joined and we pay for his too.  So I pay 64.98 a month (no commitment) to use the cardio equip.

Planet Fitness has a program you sign up for a year, and it is 19.99 a month and you can take unlimited guests with you, so I wouldn’t have to get a membership for father-in-law.  They don’t have classes or a pool, but I haven’t used them and don’t think I will.

So I thought I would ask you all if you’ve had good or bad experiences with either.  The savings of 44.99 a month would really help out, plus Planet Fitness is open 24/5 whereas Ballys opens at 5:30 on the weekdays.  Planet Fitness opens at 7am on the weekends and Ballys opens at 8 am.  Now I am one that works out early, but 5:30 is too late for me to do my workouts in the morning before work, so if I swtiched, I could get to the gym at 4:30 or 5 and get my workout’s done before work and save my evenings for the family time.

What is your favorite low cal snack??????

I am trying to find some new snacks.  I found Del Monte Fruit Chillers in Strawberry, YUMMY!!! and only 55 calories in each one (on a low eating day, I can have 2 WOOHOO) .  And of course, there is the Skinny Cow Strawberry Shortcake at 140 calories (they are almost twice as big as the Klondikes at almost half the calories).  And when I don’t absolutly have to have a sweet, I love the little 2% cottage cheese, it only has 90 calories and has a good amount of protien.

 So whats yours?
